About the Team

Fred Astaire Dance Studios was founded by Mr. Fred Astaire in 1947 to preserve and pass on his dance techniques to the public. Since the first studio opened in New York City, our worldwide network has produced a wealth of amateur and professional dancers who embody Fred Astaire's style and grace. We take pride in improving the lives of our students, staff, and community through the joy of lifelong dancing.

The Morristown location, opened in July 2007 under the direction of National Dance Board Member Gabriela Jileva, has seen explosive growth through ongoing training and development in both business and dance. We are an award-winning team looking to add dedicated individuals to our family.

Our instructors are gifted educators from around the world, many holding Fine Arts degrees and actively competing as professional dancers. They are certified in the proprietary Fred Astaire Curriculum, a rigorous teaching method designed to teach the mechanics of partner dancing while ensuring students naturally absorb and retain information. This curriculum is continuously reviewed by world-famous former dance champions and registered judges to ensure the highest quality instruction.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to manage our reception area at the Morristown location. As the first point of contact for our students and visitors, you will provide a warm welcome and assist with inquiries, setting the tone for the entire studio experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has a passion for dance. You will be the face of the studio, ensuring that every student feels valued from the moment they walk through the door. We are specifically looking for a candidate interested in long-term growth within our studio; please note that we cannot accept summer-only or short-term applicants.
