Thrive Behavior Centers is a locally owned company dedicated to providing personalized, center-based ABA therapy to children with autism. Our mission is to create fun, inclusive environments where first-class clinical staff can positively impact their clients' lives. We believe in respecting the vital work our team does every day and value the unique contributions of every member. Our leadership is committed to providing the support and tools necessary for our team to thrive.
At Thrive, we foster a culture where the community feels like family. Our team members consistently report that everyone cares deeply about the mission, creating a supportive group dynamic where colleagues rely on one another. We strive to be a great place to work by upholding high ethical standards and ensuring that both our clients and employees feel valued and understood.
As a Behavior Technician (RBT) in our center, you will be the face of our therapy programs, working directly with clients to implement therapeutic strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is designed for individuals who want to make a tangible difference in the lives of children with autism while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Your day will involve engaging one-on-one with clients through therapeutic interventions, modeling verbal behavior, and creating learning opportunities during daily activities like mealtimes and play. You will be responsible for ensuring client safety and wellbeing, administering behavioral interventions, and assisting with physical needs such as feeding and personal hygiene. Beyond direct care, you will maintain accurate session notes, communicate effectively with families and supervisors, and uphold the highest ethical standards of the BACB.
We offer a supportive environment where you can grow professionally. You will receive comprehensive training, have access to all necessary technology, and enjoy opportunities for advancement. Our leadership cares about your well-being, offering realistic scheduling and a culture that values work-life balance.
Our team surveys our staff regularly to ensure we are meeting our goals of support and growth. The feedback highlights a strong group culture of support, where everyone is a team player willing to help. Staff members appreciate that the company understands when life happens and values the quality, ethically sound ABA therapy provided. Whether it's through quarterly social events, monthly catered lunches, or a social rewards platform, we celebrate our team's achievements and build strong bonds.
To join our team, you must be a high school graduate or have a GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A key requirement is the ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment, as well as holding a current CPR/AED or BLS certification accredited by the American Heart Association.
If you are ready to be part of a family that is doing amazing things, we encourage you to apply. We look for candidates who can remain patient and calm in a potentially stressful environment while maintaining a positive attitude toward coworkers and clients.
