As a Ramp Agent at our Honolulu base, you will be the backbone of our ground operations. This role is designed for those eager to launch a career in aviation, as no prior experience is required; comprehensive paid training is provided for all new employees. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft and passengers, ensuring every flight departs on time.
Your day will involve marshalling aircraft in and out of the gate, loading and unloading baggage, and performing critical safety inspections. You will operate various ramp equipment, including stairs, bridges, and baggage carts, while also handling cabin service duties such as cleaning lavatories and restocking supplies. Whether you are acting as a wing walker to protect aircraft wings during pushback or de-icing aircraft in severe weather, your work directly contributes to the safety and success of American Airlines flights.
