About the Role
As a Railroad Flagger, you will play a critical role in keeping workers safe on active train tracks by controlling train movements and enforcing federal safety rules. This position supports a diverse range of clients, from Class 1 railroads to contractors and state DOT divisions. You will serve as the frontline guardian of on-track safety, ensuring that all operations adhere to strict federal, state, and client regulations.
In this field-based role, you will coordinate daily activities, lead safety briefings, and communicate effectively with dispatchers, train crews, and contractors. The position requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail to manage complex job sites, often in challenging environments involving extreme weather, dust, and noise. You will be responsible for spotting rule violations, ensuring contractor compliance, and maintaining accurate daily reports.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must successfully pass pre-employment and recurrent background checks, as well as drug and alcohol testing. All new hires are required to complete mandatory classroom training before beginning field duties.

Requirements
