As a Railroad Flagger, you will be the critical link ensuring safety on active tracks. This role exists to control train movements and enforce federal safety rules, keeping workers safe while they perform maintenance and construction tasks. You will support a diverse range of clients, from Class 1 railroads to state transportation projects.
In this position, you will coordinate daily activities at job sites, lead safety briefings, and communicate clearly with dispatchers, train crews, and contractors. You will be responsible for spotting rule violations, ensuring all personnel meet training requirements, and completing detailed daily reports. This is a field-based role that requires you to work in varying weather conditions, navigate uneven terrain, and maintain high vigilance to uphold our core value: "No job is so urgent that it can't be done safely."
Candidates selected for this position must successfully pass pre-employment and recurrent background checks, as well as drug and alcohol testing. All new hires are required to complete mandatory classroom training before beginning field duties.
