This full-time, onsite position serves as the backbone of our diagnostic imaging services. You will perform various imaging procedures in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, while upholding the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Your day will involve reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling exams, and educating patients to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, continuously monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in status. The role requires critical thinking and decisive judgment to troubleshoot equipment, resolve image quality issues, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You may also have the opportunity to mentor Radiology students.
