As a Quality Technician (Nights), you will be responsible for executing corporate and plant-specific Food Safety, Quality, and Laboratory requirements. Reporting to the QA Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring that all parameters of food safety and quality are adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.
Your day will involve a hands-on approach to quality assurance, including assisting with batching chemicals and ingredients for production, calibrating lab and line equipment, and collecting in-process and finished product samples. You will conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing, perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination, and review food safety records. When deficiencies are identified, you will be expected to recognize them, initiate proper follow-up, and aid in troubleshooting non-conformances.
