As a Quality Inspector/Auditor on the 1st Shift at Norris Cylinder Company, you play a critical role in ensuring the production, inspection, and distribution of our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is designed to uphold our commitment to our customers by maintaining rigorous adherence to our Quality Policy and ISO procedures.
Your day-to-day impact involves a dynamic blend of hands-on inspection and strategic auditing. You will navigate the production floor from the Pressing stage through to Paint, conducting 3–5 plant-wide audit rounds to verify job requirements and first article completion. Beyond routine checks, you will perform 100% final inspections on assigned lines, ensuring every part meets specifications and regulatory compliance. Your work extends to maintaining the integrity of our quality systems by managing gage calibration, organizing audit-ready documentation, and driving corrective actions to resolve in-process problems.
In this role, you will be the guardian of our quality culture, fostering a positive work environment through strong work ethics and effective collaboration with co-workers. You will work independently yet remain flexible, ready to support HP/Specialty lines as needed and ensure that all findings are documented and followed up on effectively.
