The Quality Engineer serves as a vital technical resource and guide for project teams, overseeing quality control processes for specific project scopes. This role is designed to bridge the gap between senior quality management and on-site execution, ensuring that projects move seamlessly from notice to proceed through final acceptance.
In this position, you will lead corrective and preventive actions, manage Non-Conformance Notices (NCN), and coordinate third-party peer design reviews and testing agencies. You will be responsible for tracking materials and submittals, managing the punch list identification and closeout process, and ensuring all work complies with contract documents. Beyond technical oversight, the role emphasizes building cross-cultural relationships, resolving conflicts appropriately, and capturing best practices to enhance customer relationships and project margins.
