The Quality Engineer (Internal) serves as a pivotal leader in maintaining and elevating our quality standards across both internal manufacturing processes and customer-facing outcomes. This role exists to drive problem resolution, manage documentation, and oversee change approvals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within specific manufacturing departments.\n In this position, you will coordinate closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams. Your day-to-day involves leading internal meetings to drive corrective actions, facilitating training on quality initiatives, and spearheading the implementation of software solutions to transition from paper-based record keeping to digital inspection data. You will also conduct various internal and layered process audits to ensure strict conformance to IATF 16949 requirements, ensuring that quality objectives are met and continuously improved upon.
The work environment is representative of an active manufacturing floor. While performing essential functions, you may occasionally work in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, or within areas with a risk of electrical shock.
