This Senior Quality Engineer position reports directly to the Quality Engineering Manager and serves as a strategic partner to internal and external customers, suppliers, and DMT partners. The role exists to execute the organization's Quality Assurance strategy, ensuring the continuous production of products that meet customer requirements, government regulations, and established industry standards.
You will lead quality improvement activities in targeted areas, developing and executing Program Plans that translate engineering and system-level functional requirements into actionable inspection protocols. As a primary interface for customer quality representatives and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), you will manage source inspections and audits while driving root cause analysis on anomalies to maintain system integrity.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance. Employment is contingent upon U.S. citizenship in support of contract requirements. Dual citizens must obtain specific approval for access to required information, which may take several months before employment can begin. Prior experience in a high-reliability environment with Electro/Mechanical/Optical equipment; MS Office proficiency, SAP experience, and statistical analysis software packages; ASQ Certification (CQE); Six sigma experience or LEAN, knowledge of Lean Product Development (LPD) and Continuous Improvement (CI).
