Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePlan and design quality control initiatives and project-specific inspection plans
- check_circlePrepare Quality Control Project Plans including definable features and testing requirements
- check_circleEnsure compliance with submittal requirements and maintain submittal logs
- check_circleImplement field 3-phase quality control processes per USACE and DPW requirements
- check_circleBuild and manage a QC team of subject matter experts to execute job-specific programs
- check_circleComplete targeted Daily Quality Control Reports and meeting notes on inspection results
- check_circleReport on quality program implementation status to Program Quality Control Manager
- check_circleDocument field quality deficiencies and track them via Deficiency Log through closeout
- check_circleAssist project team in preparing proposals and managing RFIs related to quality programs
- check_circleTroubleshoot and resolve outstanding quality concerns on construction projects
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED
- verifiedBachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (or equivalent experience)
- verifiedMinimum 5 years construction quality control experience
- verifiedConstruction Quality Management (CQM) certification
- verifiedU.S. Citizen
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedExperience with projects ranging from $1MM to $30MM
- verifiedDirect experience with Federal clients
- verifiedOSHA 30 (Preferred)
- verifiedExperience reading plans and specifications (Preferred)
Nice to Have
OSHA 30 certification. Broad experience in civil, vertical construction, demolition, and environmental remediation. Experience with updating corporate quality plans and developing project-specific quality control inspection/testing plans and field forms for a wide range of projects. Experience reading plans and specifications.
