About the Role
Kimco is seeking a Quality Control Lead for a client, a manufacturer located in Ontario, CA. This role is designed to ensure product integrity by conducting comprehensive electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical testing on systems, subassemblies, and components. The Lead will serve as a critical bridge between engineering, production, and quality teams, working to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes.
In this position, you will supervise quality control personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and temporary staff. Your day will involve training employees, assigning work, and evaluating performance while promoting a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for defining requirements for special tooling and fixtures, developing test setups for standard and nonstandard products, and ensuring all activities comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
