Quality Control Engineer

About the Role

The Quality Engineer serves as a pivotal bridge between concept and delivery for EMI Industries, LLC's technical, retail-oriented refrigerated display products. This position is dedicated to managing the design lifecycle while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across design, technical, and support teams.

In this role, you will provide critical technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external manufacturers, ensuring a deep understanding of product specifications and manufacturing standards. You will act as a technical ambassador, representing the company at trade associations and seminars to keep the organization abreast of industry developments. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight—guiding regional contract teams on client specifications—and hands-on execution, including conducting design reviews and supporting business development presentations.

Work Environment

This position operates within a hybrid environment, spanning a normal office setting and the manufacturing floor. Employees will encounter conditions typical of wood and metal manufacturing, including exposure to dust and particles, with moderate noise levels. The role demands the ability to travel overseas as a business representative and requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 25 pounds and maintaining dexterity for handling materials.
