About the Role
As a CAD Technician II, you will produce advanced CAD drawings with minimal supervision and support coordination across multiple project stakeholders. This role requires increased technical proficiency, strong project ownership, and the ability to quickly pivot between priorities to support workload balancing across regions and the broader CAD organization. You will play a key part in converting conceptual designs into construction and installation documents while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleIndependently produce, modify, and review detailed CAD drawings from engineered designs
- check_circleEnsure drawings comply with CAD standards, specifications, and project requirements prior to release
- check_circleCoordinate with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to resolve design conflicts
- check_circleConvert conceptual and preliminary designs into construction and installation documents
- check_circleManage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines
- check_circleMentor and provide technical guidance to CAD Technician I staff
- check_circleMaintain accurate drawing files, documentation, and version control
- check_circleTrack and allocate time accurately across projects
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum of three (3) years of progressive CAD experience
- verifiedMinimum of one (1) year of REVIT experience
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- verifiedStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- verifiedProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet applications, email, messaging platforms, and PDF review/editing software
Nice to Have
Associate Degree or technical training. Experience with low-voltage security systems. Exposure to Revit or 3D modeling tools.
