About the Team
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join a large enterprise QA organization dedicated to supporting digital and technology initiatives. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that applications, systems, and customer-facing platforms meet rigorous quality, functionality, and performance expectations before deployment. The environment is fast-paced, focusing on web, desktop, and mobile applications within a significant digital transformation landscape.
About the Role
This is a hands-on manual testing position designed for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative, onsite setting. You will work closely with QA Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Your day-to-day will involve executing test cases, performing regression and functional testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects through resolution, as well as validating business requirements to ensure applications meet acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will participate in test planning and defect triage sessions, assisting with migration and testing efforts within QA management tools such as Trecentist QTest and ALM.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be W2 eligible or US Citizens; no sponsorship or visas are available for this role. The position is based in San Antonio, TX, requiring an onsite schedule of 5 days per week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
