Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInterface with sales, suppliers, customers, and manufacturing to establish product quality requirements
- check_circleReview products and processes to eliminate food safety issues and recommend improvements
- check_circleManage employee relations including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- check_circleEnsure operational compliance with government regulations and manage external agency audits
- check_circleManage the formulation, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality assurance policies and programs
- check_circleOversee department budget and cost management activities
- check_circleDevelop and maintain systems to measure progress against food safety and quality goals
- check_circleEnsure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, and safety policies across all operations
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Operations Management or related field
- verifiedMinimum three (3) years of quality assurance/control experience
- verifiedPrevious supervisory experience
- verifiedHACCP Certification
- verifiedPCQI Certification
- verifiedSQF Certification
- verifiedASQ CMQ/OE Certification preferred
- verifiedCIS preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of Food Quality and Food Safety programs including GMP, HACCP, CAPA
