The Quality Assurance team in Savannah operates within a team-oriented environment dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness and operational excellence.
The Quality Assurance Certification Specialist 1 supports aircraft certification activities performed by FAA Principal Inspectors or Gulfstream ODA IARs. This role ensures that all articles and associated data presented for certification meet requirements in accordance with the approved Quality Assurance System and the ODA Operations Manual.
In this position, you will manage large data sets related to aircraft configuration, traceability, and conformity. You will assist in preparing and reviewing data packages prior to submission, ensuring compliance with ODA and FAA requirements. The role involves processing and distributing certification documentation to internal and external organizations, interpreting engineering configuration data relative to manufacturing planning, and tracking certification tasks to ensure completion against program schedules.
Beyond core duties, you will actively engage in process improvement projects to enhance quality and efficiency. You will also support corporate initiatives focused on resource sustainability and business continuity, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
