The Quality Metrology Technician serves as a critical partner to engineering, production, and quality teams, ensuring products meet rigorous internal and customer specifications. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment, combining technical precision with a drive for continuous improvement. You will be the bridge between data and action, analyzing processes to identify root causes of defects and recommending solutions that maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
In this position, you will program, set up, and operate advanced inspection equipment, including CMMs and Vision Measurement Systems. Your day-to-day involves establishing measurement methodologies, creating inspection work instructions, and managing measurement system analysis activities like Gage R&R and Bias studies. Whether working with plastic or metal components, you will provide the technical expertise needed to verify product specifications and define acceptable variance levels.
You will operate within a regulated environment familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820 standards, likely supporting medical device manufacturing. Success in this role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as you will frequently train others on Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Statistical Process Control (SPC). The team values individuals who can work independently while collaborating effectively to validate measurement qualifications and support product development projects.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements. Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
