This position serves as an expert-level inspector who operates without supervision, demonstrating a deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME Y14.5. You will leverage advanced blueprint reading and manufacturing/inspection math skills to program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and scanners.
In this role, you will act as a technical leader, providing guidance to lower-level inspectors and contributing to the creation of new inspection processes. You will serve as the primary customer liaison for discrepant parts, handling tag write-ups and defect descriptions. Additionally, you will review and critique AS9102 reports generated by the team, ensuring rigorous quality standards are met.
