The QC Manager plays a key role in executing assigned Quality tasks, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Quality procedures and policies for the site. This position involves planning, directing, and coordinating work activities while providing strategic direction for the implementation and maintenance of quality systems throughout the facility.
In this role, you will partner with Operations and Manufacturing Services to assure company quality standards are met. You will be responsible for establishing finished product target weights, verification checks, and ensuring conformance to regulatory requirements. The day-to-day involves conducting investigative research on products or materials, reviewing and trending environmental sample testing and analytical lab results, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. You will also investigate and respond to consumer complaints specific to the site, manage documentation and sterile sampling for shipments, and assess product eligibility for release in accordance with company policy.
This position is based at our facility located at 275 Cortland Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13202. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule.
