The Memphis Grizzlies are dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment at the FedExForum for 20 million fans and staff. Our Public Safety team serves as the visible backbone of our security operations, ensuring the arena operates smoothly around the clock. We foster a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and community service, where every officer plays a critical role in protecting our guests, employees, and the facility itself.
As a Public Safety Officer, you will be the first line of defense in our 24/7 security operations. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in being a visible deterrent against irregular activity. You will rotate through various critical posts throughout the building, including the loading dock, receiving areas, employee entrances, and roaming "rover" duties. Your day will involve monitoring access points, verifying credentials, patrolling interior and exterior spaces, and responding to emergencies with calm and precision.
Beyond enforcement, you will be a key point of contact for staff and guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing crowd control during events. Whether you are inspecting incoming deliveries, operating CCTV systems, or collaborating with law enforcement during an incident, your ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions will be essential to our mission.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for our first shift. The Memphis Grizzlies are committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. If you are contacted by anyone claiming to represent the Grizzlies, please verify their identity through official channels. We will never require candidates to send money, deposit funds, or provide sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or bank details) via email, social media, or messaging platforms as a condition of employment. If you encounter suspicious activity, please contact us immediately with the details.
