About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will monitor advanced electronic access control and state-of-the-art surveillance systems from our Security Control Center. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of our community by managing employee access credentials, responding to medical emergencies and building hazards, and addressing intrusions, theft, and vandalism. You will serve as a reliable first responder in a 24/7 operation, coordinating emergency responses, evacuations, and traffic control while maintaining a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMonitor and operate Security Control Center systems including access control, CCTV, and fire alarms
- check_circleManage employee access credentials, issue ID cards, and generate access reports
- check_circleDocument and respond to incidents such as medical emergencies, theft, and severe weather
- check_circleDispatch guards, coordinate escorts, and assist with traffic control and event support
- check_circleCommunicate clearly via radio, phone, and email to coordinate emergency response and evacuations
- check_circleServe as backup supervisor and security guard while assisting with facility-related tasks
Requirements
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedCPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- verifiedProficient in Security Guard II and/or III duties
- verifiedMust not require employment sponsorship
- verifiedAbility to work in Omaha, Nebraska
