About the Role
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is seeking active or retired law enforcement officers for part-time seasonal positions in Fire Island, Seaview. This role is critical for maintaining safety and order in the Bayshore Area, requiring officers who can effectively observe activities, report incidents, and enforce site regulations.
Day in the Life
You will patrol assigned areas, preventing unauthorized entry and managing disturbances with calm professionalism. In the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations, you will protect evidence, set up barriers, and direct others. All duties are performed in an honest, ethical manner, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must hold and maintain an Armed N.Y.S. Security Guard license specifically for retired law enforcement. The role requires the physical ability to stand and complete patrols, as well as the interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service across diverse cultures and social levels.
Schedule
This is a part-time seasonal position. Availability on weekends is mandatory.
