The Customer Service II position at Willamalane Park and Recreation District serves as the primary point of contact for patrons visiting or calling our facilities. This seasonal, part-time role is designed to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the community, blending front-line customer service with active facility support.
You will be the first face people see, guiding them through program registrations, answering inquiries about district events, and resolving inquiries regarding rentals and activities. Beyond the front desk, this role is integral to the operational success of our programs. You will assist in setting up and tearing down event spaces, managing crowd control for large groups, and performing light custodial and course maintenance duties to keep our parks and facilities in top condition.
This position requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as you may be stationed at any Willamalane facility. Whether you are handling cash transactions, enforcing safety guidelines, or responding to emergencies with First Aid and CPR certification, your goal is to create a positive experience for every visitor while maintaining the integrity of our operations.
This position is open to internal applicants only. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on May 22, 2026, for an anticipated start date of June 13, 2026.
Candidates selected for this role will be required to pass a drug screen test prior to employment, as the position is classified as safety-sensitive. Additionally, possession of or the ability to obtain current First Aid and CPR/AED certificates is a mandatory requirement.
