About the Team
Programs for Children and Adolescents (PFCA) is an outpatient therapy clinic dedicated to providing individual, group therapy, and psychological testing services for children between the ages of 5 and 18. Our mission is to deliver culturally responsive, safety-focused, and evidence-based outpatient behavioral health services to improve the emotional, physical, and spiritual health of youth and families in our community. We are a collaborative team of Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counselors working together to support our patients.
About the Role
As a Psychologist on our team, you will provide essential mental health care and education within a supportive outpatient environment. This role involves conducting psychological evaluations, assessing individual and group treatments, and facilitating family interventions. You will play a key part in staff education by orienting new employees and providing psychological insights during patient care conferences. The position emphasizes collaboration with community and state-wide mental health agencies to ensure seamless follow-up care for our patients.
Our clinic operates Monday through Friday with no weekend work requirements or on-call duties, allowing for a balanced professional schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient safety, proactively identifying opportunities to improve policies and processes, and fostering an environment where patients feel empowered to actively participate in their own care.
Hiring Process

The hiring process includes a review of qualifications, including a Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and a valid Psychologist License in New Mexico. Candidates with bilingual skills in Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are highly valued. Successful applicants will be required to complete CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
