Our outpatient psychiatry clinic is an integral part of a leading academic medical center. We are staffed by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, vocational counselors, and a neuropsychologist. We work in close partnership with primary and specialty care providers to ensure holistic, patient-centered treatment.

We are seeking a dedicated Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our tertiary academic practice in Portland, Maine. This is a full-time, faculty opportunity designed for motivated clinicians who are also passionate educators. The role is committed to advancing the care of individuals with complex mental health needs while training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In this position, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults with complex and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will engage in collaborative treatment planning with colleagues across the care continuum and serve as a clinical educator, teaching psychiatry residents and medical students through direct supervision, didactics, and consultation. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives and opportunities for academic development.
Candidates will receive institutional support for obtaining a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
