CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are recruiting for a growing department in the metropolitan community of Omaha, Nebraska. The Lasting Hope Recovery Center serves as a pillar of a comprehensive service line, offering a full continuum of care across the state of Nebraska and southwest Iowa. This unique public-private partnership treats patients experiencing both mental illness and substance abuse, providing services that include inpatient, outpatient, partial, residential, and integrated primary care.
The center is dedicated to helping people get on the road to recovery by instilling hope, a sense of possibility, and rebuilding a positive self-image. The treatment model relies on evidence-based practices, including the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and Peer Support Specialists. The facility features 64 private adult patient rooms and a 24-hour assessment center for psychiatric crisis assessment and triage, ensuring access to clinical professionals and support staff around the clock.
This opportunity offers the flexibility to fit your career goals, whether you prefer an inpatient, outpatient, or blended practice model. As a General Adult Psychiatrist, you will join a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals with full primary care support and referrals available. The role includes a faculty appointment from Creighton University School of Medicine, providing the opportunity to provide clinical supervision and instruction for psychiatry residents and fellows, as well as mentor junior and new hire psychiatrists.
You will work within a Monday through Friday schedule with a shared call rotation. The position supports a hybrid model option for some tele-outpatient visits, allowing you to build your preferred practice environment.
