About the Role
The Provider Specialist serves as a critical liaison for Non-Metro Area Agency on Aging service providers. This full-time, non-exempt role is designed to ensure the effective oversight of service delivery across the state. You will act as a partner to providers, offering technical assistance, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with program and policy standards. The position requires extensive travel throughout the state to visit provider sites and projects, dealing with both non-routine and repetitive assignments.
In this role, you will foster close and effective working relationships with providers while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. You will coordinate training initiatives, collaborate with local and state entities to identify community priorities, and work closely with the Aging and Disability Resource Center. The position involves making recommendations to improve long-term care services and contributing to the development of comprehensive outreach programs.
