JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). The company develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JT4 is seeking Aircraft Propulsion Integration (PI) Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineers to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of propulsion systems across single-engine and multi-engine aircraft platforms. You will serve as a technical authority, bridging the gap between ground testing and flight operations.
In this position, you will review and provide input for PI documents supporting Technical Review Boards (TRB), Safety Review Boards (SRB), and Report Integrated Product Teams (RIPT). A key part of your day involves providing enterprise-level coordination for all projects and supporting the Director of Propulsion Safety and Technical Review (DoPSTR) during Joint Propulsion Council meetings. You will collaborate with allied engineering disciplines—including avionics, armament, electronic warfare, and structures—to coordinate technical input for PI T&E efforts.
Your technical contributions will drive test planning, the development of data analysis tools, and the definition of engine test instrumentation requirements. You will actively support test execution, including control room operations, and perform post-flight data analysis to assist with technical reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes projects that directly impact national defense capabilities.
JT4 is hiring multiple candidates for this position with varying experience and skill levels. Salary ranges will be determined based on your specific skill level and education. To apply, please submit your resume and relevant credentials. Note that this position is part of a Federal Government Contract requiring U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance up to Top Secret with special access.
JT4 is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background. As part of our culture, every employee is expected to read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
