JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). Our mission is to develop and maintain realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
The Senior Structures Integration Engineer serves as a technical leader within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting airworthiness and structural integration across a diverse portfolio of airborne platforms, including rotary-wing, fixed-wing, ISR, and specialized mission aircraft. This role is designed for highly experienced personnel who can perform advanced technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide strategic technical leadership in complex airworthiness and modification settings.
In this position, you will act as a critical interface between the Government Chief Engineers, Technical Authorities, platform contractors, and customer representatives. You will provide independent technical assessments and peer reviews for aircraft structural modifications, sustainment actions, external stores integration, and instrumentation installations. Your work ensures that contractor-developed engineering packages meet rigorous airworthiness standards and technical adequacy requirements.
Day-to-day activities involve conducting engineering analyses on structural integration, mounting concepts, and fatigue considerations, while developing or modifying CAD drawings and integration documentation. You will support technical trade studies, prepare technical assessment memorandums, and participate in flight test readiness reviews. The role demands the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to engineers, program managers, and leadership, ensuring seamless coordination across electrical, avionics, systems safety, and propulsion disciplines.
Candidates selected for this position must be U.S. Citizens and possess the ability to qualify for and maintain a Government Security Clearance. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, technical interviews, and verification of security eligibility.
JT4 is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace. Tasking for this role is in support of a Federal Government Contract, which requires U.S. citizenship. While we value diverse backgrounds, eligibility for government security clearance and specific legal requirements for federal contract support are mandatory for this position.
