JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). We develop and maintain realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
The Senior Electrical / Avionics Integration Engineer serves as a critical technical interface within a fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment. This role exists to ensure airworthiness and successful integration across a diverse portfolio of airborne platforms, including rotary-wing, fixed-wing, ISR, and specialized mission aircraft.
You will operate both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team, providing independent technical assessments, peer reviews, and airworthiness risk evaluations for aircraft modifications and sustainment actions. Your work involves bridging the gap between Government Chief Engineers, Technical Authorities, platform contractors, and customer representatives. You will be responsible for reviewing complex engineering analyses, interface definitions, and technical data packages to ensure technical adequacy and safety compliance.
Day-to-day activities include supporting T2 engineering activities such as antenna relocation and instrumentation integration, conducting EMI/EMC considerations, and developing CAD drawings and wiring schematics. You will actively participate in technical review boards, flight release discussions, and systems safety activities, ensuring that all integration impacts are coordinated across structures, propulsion, and flight controls. This position requires strong engineering judgment to navigate defined airworthiness and contractual boundaries while driving integration-level activities forward.
This position is part of a Federal Government Contract, which requires U.S. citizenship. Candidates must be able to qualify for and maintain a Government Security Clearance; an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance is highly desirable.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the official JT4, LLC career portal. The selection process will evaluate technical qualifications, experience with military aircraft integration programs, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to program managers and leadership.
JT4, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse workforce and consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
