JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). As an Instrumentation Design Engineer II, you will serve as a vital member of a development, sustainment, or operations and maintenance team. In this role, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks spanning design, development, manufacturing, testing, installation, integration, and maintenance of software, electronic, and mechanical systems. Your work will involve a blend of standard practices and original ingenuity to resolve complex technical problems.
A key focus of this position is providing crucial mechanical design support for the Global Power Bomber program. You will ensure all program requirements and critical deadlines are met through diligent and proactive engagement. You will plan successive engineering steps, conduct tolerance studies and design calculations, and generate design specifications for projects of varying complexity. Additionally, you will support senior engineers by conducting research, preparing technical reports and presentations, and staying current with approved standards and codes.
This position is part of a Federal Government Contract. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance, including special access eligibility. A valid, current state-issued driver's license is also required.
