WSP is seeking a Proposal Manager for its Federal Programs business line. This role sits within the Strategic Growth Team (SGT), a national group of collaborative problem solvers dedicated to advancing growth initiatives and securing wins across regions and business lines. The Federal Programs business line collaborates closely with other WSP markets to position, pursue, and secure contracts with federal agencies, including the USACE, Air Force, NAVFAC, Civilian agencies, and the Intelligence Community.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic resources to drive client engagement, pursuits, and marketing activities. You will facilitate teams in positioning for major pursuits, managing capture planning, proposal development, and interview coaching with a focus on continuous improvement. Additionally, you will serve as a knowledge manager for the business line, maintaining collateral and supporting marketing communications to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
While this role can be based in any U.S. city where WSP has an office, preferred locations include Kansas City, MO; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Boise, ID; Washington, DC; or Baltimore, MD.
In this position, you will partner with business line leads to align growth priorities and drive successful proposal and market strategy initiatives. Your day-to-day involves supporting teams through complex pursuits from lead identification through contract award, aiming to improve win rates and client positioning. You will act as a connector across regional teams and cross-business line expertise to ensure the complete OneWSP offering is presented to clients.
You will lead priority pursuits end-to-end, developing strategy, messaging, and content quality while gathering business intelligence to challenge assumptions and refine sales themes. This role requires close collaboration with technical staff to write and edit content, working with graphic design to produce strategic visuals, and coaching presentation teams for interviews and Q&A. You will also oversee pursuit teams, ensure compliance with sales policies, and assist in refining business development procedures.
