As a Project Technician, you will be the frontline support for our gaming equipment, ensuring seamless operations from installation to maintenance. This role is critical for maintaining the reliability of our devices at customer locations, directly impacting the user experience.
You will manage a dynamic route, handling everything from initial equipment setup and warehouse preparation to on-site troubleshooting and repairs. Your day involves traveling extensively to deliver products and resolve technical issues, requiring you to balance technical diagnostics with strong customer service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clerks, management, and customers, ensuring that every assignment is completed efficiently and that inventory levels in your route vehicle are always sufficient to handle unexpected repairs.
Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to proceed, including being at least 21 years old. The selection process includes a comprehensive background check and a drug test. Successful applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as the role requires frequent travel of over 150 miles per day.
This position is physically demanding and requires a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Technicians must be prepared to stand for extended periods, utilize hand dexterity for equipment handling, and lift or push weights up to 300 lbs. Visual acuity is essential for reading technical information and operating equipment, while strong communication skills are needed to stay connected with the team and customers on the road.
