This position serves as a critical bridge between the estimating phase and field execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule. The role is designed for professionals who can manage complex, high-value construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity. It involves a dual-step progression: Step I focuses on managing large projects ($51M–$100M) for those with 10–15 years of experience, while Step II targets complex, multi-project portfolios ($101M–$199M) for candidates with at least 15 years of experience.
You will champion the orderly transition of projects from the office to the field, conducting contract review meetings to align on requirements, schedules, and budgets. Working closely with Project Superintendents, you will coordinate means and methods, monitoring manpower, equipment, and material resources to drive profitability. Your day involves managing the overall CPM schedule, ensuring the team utilizes the Last Planner System (LPS), and preparing accurate monthly progress reports by the 6th of every month.
Beyond execution, you will maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. You will handle close-out requirements, punch lists, and warranty callbacks to preserve client trust. The role also includes active participation in business development, where you may engage in client contact, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations for selected projects.
Safety is a core value of this organization. This is a Safety-Sensitive position, meaning duties may involve operating vehicles, machinery, or handling hazardous materials. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes, hard hats, and safety glasses, and must strictly comply with all safety standards and procedures. The role demands physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders, and interacting with people frequently throughout the shift.
Candidates should possess a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and experience. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Please note that job descriptions are subject to change and may include other duties as assigned.
