HNTB is seeking a highly motivated and talented Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental planning, documentation, and permitting tasks for major transportation clients. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, managing the preparation and delivery of environmental documentation while coordinating and reviewing technical work performed by others.
You will serve as the primary client liaison, managing project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. The position involves a mixture of office and field duties, including researching, gathering, and analyzing data, preparing project materials, and applying environmental law and policy to ensure compliance on behalf of the client. You will also provide mentorship and oversight to junior staff, fostering their development while leading the execution of project management plans.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field required; Master's degree in Business, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred.
Master's degree in Business, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design or related field. American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP), Registered Landscape Architect (RLA), Registered Architect (RA), or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) certification. Experience with NYC and State regulatory agencies including NYSDEC, NYSDOS, NYCDDC, and NYCDCP. 12 years relevant experience.
