Worley Consulting is seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Permitting Specialist to join our Environment & Society (E&S) team in the United States. This role supports the delivery of permitting, regulatory, and environmental solutions for energy sector clients across upstream, midstream, downstream, and emerging energy transition markets.
The successful candidate will contribute to project delivery, regulatory strategy, and permitting execution, while developing strong technical and client-facing capabilities. Working alongside senior consultants and principals, this role provides a strong growth pathway within a high-performing team focused on delivering value to clients and supporting the transition to a lower-carbon energy future.
This position offers the opportunity to build expertise across environmental permitting frameworks, regulatory engagement, and multidisciplinary project execution, while contributing to Worley Consulting's growth in the U.S. market. This is a full-time, hybrid position based at a Worley U.S. office, with locations including Houston, TX (preferred); Long Beach/Monrovia, CA; Charleston, WV; and Reading, PA.

Salary Range: $85,398 - $113,821; based upon experience. Benefits: Eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.

Exposure to environmental engineering practices, including stormwater management and SPCC planning.
