Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets from inception to completion
- check_circleOversee project progression including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation
- check_circleConduct Work in Progress meetings and provide status reporting to staff, customers, and management
- check_circleCoordinate change orders and drive overall margin improvement on every job
- check_circleConduct work site inspections to ensure workmanship meets required quality standards and expectations
- check_circleManage fire protection installation projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities
- check_circleTrack project expenditures and installation progress while maintaining full financial accountability
- check_circleEnsure compliance with AHJ requirements, departmental procedures, and applicable building codes
Requirements
- verifiedFive years construction or project management experience
- verifiedStrong MS Excel skills including macros
- verifiedNICET Level II or higher (preferred)
- verifiedBachelor's degree in technical or business field (preferred)
- verifiedAbility to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents (preferred)
- verifiedKnowledge of NFPA, IEC standards, and building codes (preferred)
- verifiedAbility to travel 10%-20% of the time (preferred)
Nice to Have
Five years fire protection, alarm/detection, or related project management experience. Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical and electrical documents. Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriter's requirements and applicable building codes. NICET Level II or higher. Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or equivalent field. Able to travel at least 10%-20% of the time.
