About the Role
The Project Manager I is a pivotal role designed to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness within a dynamic environment. This position serves as the operational backbone for project quality, timeliness, and safety, while simultaneously fostering strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication. Beyond managing the financial health of projects and navigating complex EPC contract negotiations, the role focuses heavily on team development. You will mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, guiding their growth while overseeing the allocation of resources and the management of vendor relationships. This is a role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on organizing multiple tasks and interpreting company policies to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleSupport and lead EPC contract negotiations including technical exhibits and schedules
- check_circleDevelop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
- check_circleProvide financials and billings to accounting and create monthly owner billings
- check_circleHandle billings, contract management, and change orders
- check_circleManage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
- check_circleLead vendor procurement and bid/award phases for major subs and suppliers
- check_circleManage subcontracts and suppliers while overseeing budget and trade partner selections

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- verifiedMinimum six years of related previous experience
- verifiedBasic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- verifiedMicrosoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- verifiedCurrent driver's license
