About the Role
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our Data Center Structured Cabling team. In this role, you will partner with the Project Manager from bid preparation through final client acceptance. You will lead, coach, and mentor project team members, acting as a liaison for project engineers and guiding Field and Project Engineers.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills to interact with a variety of staff at all levels within an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient, while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality, is vital. You will be responsible for cost control, financial management, contract administration, and leading subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe and timely project completion.
Travel and Location
This position requires 100% travel on a rotation. Opportunities exist to travel across the US, with locations including Los Angeles (LA), New Mexico (NM), Wyoming (WY), Wisconsin (WI), and Indiana (IN).
