About the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO)
The EPMO brings an integrated and consistent approach to how American Express governs and executes projects. The office better aligns operations to regulatory expectations, go-forward second-line frameworks, policies, and industry best practices. As the company grows, there is a critical need to strengthen first-line project governance and execution. The EPMO team supports the execution of select enterprise initiatives that cross multiple lines of business company-wide.
About the Role
The Project Manager will join the Enterprise Program Management Office within AENB. This role exists to support the execution of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives that impact multiple business units. You will work within a matrixed organization, building relationships and influencing decisions to drive results without direct authority. The position requires a proactive bias toward action, challenging the status quo to remove barriers creatively while maintaining strict confidentiality and operating with the highest levels of integrity.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree/Master's Degree or 3+ years related work experience leading project teams
- verifiedExperience in risk management, strategy and execution, program management, project management, and/or other consulting services
- verifiedEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States
- verifiedProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
