About the Role

The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading teams to develop tailored solutions for clinical research programs. Based in a home-based environment with a preference for California, Colorado, or Texas, this role demands a unique blend of clinical research expertise and business acumen. You will operate with a high degree of independence, making informed decisions that drive operational excellence and ensure the successful execution of complex clinical operations and logistical strategies.

Your mission is to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, strictly adhering to ICH, GCP, and all applicable regulations. Beyond project execution, you will steward the financial health of your programs, managing revenue recognition, milestone payments, and pass-through invoices while maintaining rigorous compliance with SOPs and contract terms.

A Day in the Life

You will own the sponsor relationship, acting as the central point of contact and escalation for all functional teams. Your day involves proactively communicating project progress, risks, and solutions to keep stakeholders aligned. From leading bid defense strategies and study start-up activities to overseeing site selection and IRB/EC approval processes, you will guide the project from conception through close-out.

You will lead internal and sponsor kick-off meetings to ensure clear expectations, monitor study timelines and recruitment, and prepare teams for audits. As a leader, you will also contribute to SOP development and provide oversight and training to Associate Project Managers and Project Assistants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation throughout the study lifecycle.

Join a High-Performing Team

Ready to make an impact? Apply today to join a dynamic Project Management Team where your expertise will directly shape the outcomes of clinical research. We offer a competitive base salary range of $125,000 to $138,000, with actual compensation determined by factors such as education, training, experience, and location. Eligible roles may also participate in Parexel's annual performance-based bonus plan, salary reviews, and additional total rewards incentives.

Our talent acquisition team is available to discuss specific bonus plans and incentive programs. We provide market-leading benefit programs, including paid time off, a 401(k) match, life insurance, and health insurance, in accordance with applicable plan terms.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Parexel is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
