The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading teams to develop tailored solutions for clinical research programs. This position is designed for a professional who combines deep clinical research experience with agile project management skills to drive operational excellence. You will be accountable for the end-to-end execution of EP clinical trials, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance (ICH, GCP).
Beyond execution, you will manage the financial health of your projects, overseeing revenue recognition, milestone payments, and pass-through invoices. This role demands the flexibility to make informed, independent decisions in ambiguous situations while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and contract terms.
Your work will span the entire lifecycle of a clinical study. You will begin by reviewing strategy materials and participating in bid defenses to shape the project's foundation. Once initiated, you will lead study start-up activities, oversee site selection, and manage regulatory approvals. Throughout the implementation phase, you will act as the central point of contact for sponsors and functional teams, proactively communicating progress, risks, and solutions. You will monitor recruitment, retention, and data cleaning while ensuring the project stays on track. Finally, you will guide the team through administrative close-out procedures and lead end-of-study meetings to capture lessons learned.
Ready to make an impact? Join a high-performing Project Management Team where your expertise will directly shape the outcomes of clinical research. We offer a competitive base salary range of $125,000 - $138,000, with actual compensation varying based on education, experience, and location. Eligible roles also include participation in our annual performance-based bonus plan, salary reviews, and total rewards incentives.
