The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading clinical research initiatives from concept through close-out. In this home-based role (with a preference for CA, CO, or TX), you will leverage deep clinical research experience to develop tailored solutions that drive operational excellence. You are the central point of contact for functional teams and sponsors, responsible for making informed, independent decisions that ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with ICH, GCP, and other regulatory standards.
Your day involves managing the full lifecycle of clinical trials, including pre-award strategy, study start-up, and implementation. You will lead virtual, cross-cultural teams, navigate complex risk scenarios, and oversee financial aspects such as revenue recognition and milestone payments. Beyond execution, you will contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mentor Associate PMs and Project Assistants, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
Join a high-performing Project Management Team where your expertise directly shapes the outcome of clinical research. As the primary liaison for sponsors, you will proactively communicate progress, risks, and solutions, ensuring that objectives are met even in ambiguous situations. Your work ensures that clinical operations and logistical strategies are executed flawlessly, supporting the broader mission of advancing medical science through rigorous and compliant trial management.
