The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading clinical research initiatives from concept through close-out. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in an autonomous environment, leveraging deep clinical research experience to develop tailored solutions that drive operational excellence. You will be the central point of contact for functional teams and sponsors, ensuring that complex clinical trials are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards compliant with ICH, GCP, and global regulations.
In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of EP clinical programs, overseeing everything from pre-award strategy and bid defense to site selection, study start-up, and financial management. Your day-to-day involves navigating ambiguous situations with decisive leadership, mitigating risks proactively, and fostering strong relationships across virtual teams and cultures. Whether leading kick-off meetings, managing IRB/EC approvals, or preparing for audits, you will ensure that every project delivers value while maintaining rigorous adherence to contract terms and internal SOPs.
This is a home-based position with a strong preference for candidates located in California, Colorado, or Texas. The role requires the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within virtual, cross-functional teams.
