The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading clinical research initiatives from conception through close-out. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a home-based environment (with a preference for CA, CO, or TX) and possesses the flexibility to make informed, independent decisions that drive operational excellence.
You will be the central point of contact for functional teams and sponsors, ensuring that clinical operations and logistical strategies are executed with precision. Your mission is to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, fully compliant with ICH, GCP, and other applicable regulations. Beyond execution, you will manage the financial health of projects, overseeing revenue recognition, milestone payments, and pass-through invoices while adhering to strict contract terms and system requirements.
Your work spans the entire clinical trial lifecycle. You will lead pre-award activities, including bid defenses and strategy meetings, before transitioning into project planning where you oversee site selection, contract reviews, and the setup of project teams and systems. During implementation, you will monitor study timelines, recruitment, and data cleaning, utilizing CTMS for tracking and providing performance feedback. As the study concludes, you will lead close-out procedures and facilitate lessons-learned sessions to continuously improve our processes.
Join a high-performing Project Management Team where your expertise directly shapes the outcome of clinical research. We value leadership that transcends borders, requiring the ability to guide virtual teams across diverse locations and cultures. This is an opportunity to contribute to SOP development and mentor Associate PMs and Project Assistants, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
