About the Role
As a Project Manager in Norfolk, VA, you will independently plan and organize complex projects and sub-projects. You will drive and monitor daily progress to meet project schedules, develop project schedules and Statements of Work (SOV), and provide detailed updates to stakeholders. This role involves organizing and maintaining project documentation, trackers, and reports, as well as overseeing Definable Features of Work Submittal packages in collaboration with the Superintendent.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing continuous improvement efforts for project management processes. Your day-to-day activities include reviewing submittal data to ensure finished products meet client quality and reliability expectations, managing the Request for Information (RFI) process, and supporting testing programs to verify material and installation compliance. You will also perform random project site audits to ensure production consistency with established standards and interact effectively with NAVFAC Quality Control personnel.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Previous Federal construction experience. USACE Quality Control Certification. OSHA 30 Certification (can be obtained after employment). Current or ability to get a security clearance. Current certifications for First Aid and CPR.
