The Customer Service Representative I serves as the primary point of contact for MFA Oil customers, delivering a high level of service while managing the daily operational duties of the station. This position is integral to the smooth functioning of the site, bridging the gap between customer needs and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks ranging from recording sales and processing payments to managing inventory and completing bank deposits. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily sales and deposit reporting, ensuring all receipts are listed correctly on monthly stock sheets, and applying customer payments to the appropriate accounts. The role also involves securing tax exemption forms, maintaining up-to-date filing systems, and assisting with the collection of accounts receivable as directed.
Beyond administrative duties, you will greet customers, answer phones, and satisfy routine requests courteously. You will be the first to notify customers of "out of gas" situations and ensure proper procedures are followed. Additionally, you will process daily correspondence, complete new customer documentation (including safety forms and credit applications), and obtain propane certification to fill tanks as required by the location.

We value integrity, adherence to company policies, and professional communication with management, employees, vendors, and customers.
