About the Role
The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary leader for executing successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects, spanning healthcare, financial, education, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role is designed for a professional with broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods who can independently manage all aspects of a project from start to finish.
In this position, you will guide the research and recommendation of resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors. You will also oversee the Subcontractor and Vendor procurement process, supervising the completion of buyouts, scope of work reviews, contract writing, and insurance and bonding reviews. Additionally, you will manage the team responsible for processing submittals, RFIs, change order proposals, billings, and monthly reports, ensuring the preparation of timely owner billings and accurate monthly cost projections.
Beyond execution, the Senior Project Manager plays a key role in relationship building, working with existing owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish long-term connections that identify and secure future project opportunities. You will also mentor less experienced project management staff on the daily duties required to manage a construction project effectively.
